Abstract Versions

Finally finished with the last 2 pages! Contrasting the naturalistic versions of the figures, I finished off the last 2 pages with abstract versions of the figures. Using photoshop, I played around with the opacity, fillings and filters of the figures. When i finally settled down with the one I was most excited about I chose a composition that was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The two abstract versions are very different from each other. One has a very mosaic and geometric feel and the other has a organic quality to it.

VC3: 2 Pages Completed

Using the surface prints I created in class (one bright & one neutral) I created garments that would embody my prints. Using Adobe Illustrator, I created the garments of the flat. Then, I hand drew figures and scanned them into the computer and used the pen tool to recreate the figures. To make my figures look more naturalistic, I incorporated shadows in needed areas. The gaussian blur helped to tone down the sharpness of the shade. So far these are two pages out of my 4 pages that I currently have laid out into a 11x17.
